NEWS & EVENTS
Bic & Simone Weekend
We are thrilled to announce an exciting weekend of workshops on February 15th and 16th with the amazing Bic and Simone! This is an event you won’t want to miss, packed with opportunities to elevate your dancing skills and have a blast.
Saturday 15th will feature a “Teach the Teachers” workshop for those with little or no teaching experience but a passion for learning how to teach. This class will equip you with all the skills you need to start your journey as a dance instructor.
On Saturday evening, our weekend social will start at 7:30 PM, featuring the incredible “Joys of Swing” as our live band. It’s the perfect opportunity to practice your new moves and enjoy a fun night out with fellow dancers.
After that, on Sunday, we'll be hosting a full day Level 3 workshop designed for experienced dancers. If you’re comfortable mixing rhythms and tempos and are eager to tackle more challenging variations, this is the perfect chance to take your dancing to new heights.
Tickets for these workshops (and the social) are available on dancecloud now.

ABOUT US
A little about ESDS...
As an informal society of dancers our mission is to create and maintain a fun and friendly dance community, where we welcome new people to the wonderful world of Lindy Hop and Swing Dance. We run classes, workshops and events, and promote social swing dancing in Scotland.
What is Lindy Hop?
Lindy Hop is a partnered dance born out of Harlem, New York by African-American dancers from the late 1920's through to the 1940's.
It was traditionally danced to Big Band Jazz music and evolved from dances such as the Charleston, tap dance and the breakaway.
